Terms
Last updated 23 August 2026
Short version: you pay once for a reading or a handful of them, we write them, and if something is wrong with one you tell us and we put it right. The rest of this page is that in full.
Who you’re buying from
Ninesum is run by Mateusz Kozak, a sole trader registered in Poland (CEIDG), NIP 6472465040. Buying a reading forms an agreement between you and us on these terms. Contact: readings@ninesum.co.
What Ninesum is
Numerology gives every letter a number. We add those numbers up for the name you enter, read them against a birth date, and describe what the two emphasise together. It is for entertainment and reflection.
It is not advice — not medical, legal, financial, psychological or any other kind — and nothing in a reading should be used to make a decision that needs a professional. We promise no outcome of any sort. No reading tells you a name is good or bad, scores one name against another, or predicts anything about a child, and we will not write one that does. You must be 18 or older to buy.
What you’re buying
- One reading — $12, 1 credit.
- Five readings — $29, 5 credits.
- Twelve readings — $49, 12 credits, with the middle-name tool.
- Add four more readings — $17 for 4 more credits, offered alongside a single reading or afterwards if you decide you want more.
A credit is one generated reading, not one name. Running the same name again after changing your answers is a new reading, so it costs a credit. Credits are attached to the email address that bought them, never expire, cannot be transferred to another address, and have no cash value on their own — though they are refundable, below.
Prices are in US dollars and include any tax we are required to charge.
No subscriptions
Every payment is a one-off. There are no subscriptions, no trials that turn into payments, no saved card charged again later, nothing recurring of any kind — there is nothing to cancel, because nothing renews. Payments show on your statement as NINESUM.
Refunds
A reading is written for you and delivered the moment it is ready, so once it has been generated it is not returnable — that is what you agree to at checkout when you ask us to start straight away. If something is actually wrong with one, reply to the email it came in and we will put it right.
Readings you have paid for but not yet generated are a different matter: those you can have refunded on request, at any time, no reason needed. Write to readings@ninesum.co and the money goes back to the card you paid with, usually within a few business days, depending on your bank.
Getting your reading
A reading is normally ready within a minute, and the same link is emailed to you, so you can close the tab while it is being written. Every reading is checked against our own rules before it is sent; occasionally one is held back for a person to read first, which delays it a little. If we cannot deliver a reading at all, you get the credit back or a refund, whichever you prefer.
Your report link
Each reading has a permanent web address with no login, so you can send it to whoever you like. Two things follow from that, and you should know both: anyone with the link can read the reading and see how many credits are left, and anyone with the link can spend those credits to generate a reading for another name.
Treat the link like a password. Readings generated this way are charged to your balance, and we cannot tell whether it was you. If a link gets somewhere you did not intend, tell us and we will delete the reading, which retires the link.
Using the site
Please don’t scrape the site, generate readings by automated means, work around the limit on how many readings an address can generate in an hour, or resell readings as your own work. We can refuse service or close an account for any of these; if we do, unused credits are refunded.
Who owns what
The site, the calculation engine, the wording of the prompts and everything we have written stay ours. The reading itself is yours: keep it, print it, share it with family, put it in a baby book. What you may not do is sell it, or publish it as though it were your own product.
What we don’t promise
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, or that a reading will be right for you. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the consumer protections of the country you live in.
If you are in the EU or the UK
Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because a reading is digital content delivered at once, checkout asks you to tick, before you pay: “Start writing my reading straight away. I understand that once it has been generated I lose my 14-day right to withdraw from this purchase.” You cannot pay without ticking it, we record when you did, and we confirm it in the email that follows your purchase.
That only covers readings we have actually written. Readings you have paid for and not yet generated are undelivered, so your right to withdraw from those is untouched — see Refunds above, where we undertake to refund them on request in any case.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by Polish law, and disputes go to the courts of Poland. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in, nor your right to bring a claim there.
Changes
We may change these terms — for a new feature, or a new legal requirement. The date at the top changes with them, and the terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published when you made it.
